This is what my '89 Hawk looked like when I bought it new in '91 . . .

My Hawk GT As you can see, I have done a few things to it since then. It isn't that the Hawk GT is not a great bike stock, it's more like it is a very fun bike to experiment with and personalize. Starting with the front of my bike, I have added a CBR600 cartridge front end. This gives me a fully adjustable fork, a one inch wider wheel, and a bunch more braking power. I added Brembo discs/pads and s/s brake lines. At the back, I modified the Hawk spindle to accept a VFR750 rear wheel and added a Fox Racing Shock. The suspension is now well sorted and the bike is a blast to ride. As for the engine, I really haven't done much. I have added a MHP pipe, K&N air filters and a Factory jet kit. Other mods that I have done include the Venom fairing and other cosmetic details which you'll have to look for =:-)
